Charlie d’Eve moved to Portland in 2011 from southern California. She has two cats named Crowdkill and Hardstyle, and had her first collection of poetry, Evasion Therapy, published in 2023. Her tattoo work is inspired by the tattoo world of the 1940s, belles epoque-era advertising illustration, and all things symbolizing the emotions that arise from the things we fear the most.
